Alright, so you've made it through the initial descent and dealt with those pesky Snorks. Now, Krylov's got another task for you: Flood the underground. This is where things get a bit more intense. As you push forward, you'll get a warning from Krylov about more mutants ahead. Keep your eyes peeled. Head through that hole in the wall and take a right. Surprise! Another Snork is waiting. Take it down quickly, because right after, the pipes start spewing fire. Talk about a warm welcome! More Snorks will pop out one by one as you make your way towards the ladder. Just keep clearing them out and head up. At the top, you'll find some ammo on a shelf and a medkit in a wooden box. Grab those – you never know when you'll need them. As you approach the door in the northwest corner, a new mission pops up: Destroy the mutants. This one's going to overlap with the flooding task, so pay attention. ### Mission: Destroy the mutants This next room has four big tanks and a pumping station in the middle. The moment you step in, a gate slams shut behind you, trapping you. On the other side of the pumping station lurks a Controller. These guys are nasty with their psychic attacks, but they're also vulnerable. Your best bet is to sprint straight for it and unload your shotgun into its head. If you keep the pressure on and stay close, it won't have a chance to use its psychic bolts, though you'll still need to watch out for its claws. Once that Controller is toast, the Destroy the mutants mission is complete, and you can get back to the Flood the underground task. ### Mission: Flood the underground, continued Now, head to the control unit. It's at the far end of the room from where you entered. Go through the newly opened gate and find the valve. When you activate it, a timer starts ticking, and a gate on your right will begin to open. This is it – the Reach the hole mission is now complete, and a new objective appears: Leave the flooded area. ### Mission: Leave the flooded area As soon as that gate opens, you need to move fast. Your goal is to get across the next room, down a spiral staircase, and then navigate a curved hallway against a rush of rodents. Finally, you'll need to climb another ladder before your time runs out. Don't worry, you have a little breathing room. You can break open the wooden box to the left of the gate and the stack of boxes in the hall at the bottom of the stairs. There's another box in the first room, but it's usually empty, along with the metal boxes and the backpack near the corpse. Pro tip: hugging the left wall in that curved hallway will help you avoid most of the rodents. Once you near the top of the ladder, the screen will go black, and you'll find yourself in a small room near some stairs. The Reach the hole mission is finally done. You'll see the Find the stalker group's stash mission reappear, along with a new one: Receive the reward from Krylov. That'll be 1000 RUs for your trouble.
