Stock up on ammunition.

Head to The Hole, which is marked on the south of the map.

Engage the numerous mutants. You will have a couple of allies (Duty guys) to assist you.

It is unlikely you can save the Duty guys.

Kill the mutants with caution.

After clearing the area, a new mission will become available: descend into The Hole.

Tips

The Hole is located on the southern part of your minimap (a small map displayed on your HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap)).
Be prepared for a significant number of mutants.
Focus on eliminating the mutants carefully, as saving your NPC (non-player character) allies may not be possible.
