Entering the Alcazar

The enemies here are primarily magical constructs and armored guardians. Prioritize dispelling buffs on magical foes and breaking the guards' defenses with heavy attacks.

• Item Alert: Immediately to your left after entering, check behind the large decorative urn for a chest containing a Faerie Elixir.
• Battle Strategy: Many enemies in this area are susceptible to fire-based attacks. Consider equipping characters with fire-elemental weapons or spells.

The Grand Hall & Library

Proceed through the grand hall. You'll encounter more formidable enemies, often in groups. Utilize your area-of-effect (AoE) skills to manage crowds. The path will lead you to a sprawling library. This area is crucial for story progression and contains several key items.

Library Exploration

1. First Floor:
   • Examine the glowing bookshelf near the entrance to trigger a short cutscene and reveal a hidden switch.
   • Pressing the switch will open a secret passage to a small antechamber. Inside, you'll find a chest with a Star Ruby.
   • Engage the group of Arcane Sentinels patrolling the central aisle. They are resistant to physical attacks, so rely on your spellcasters.
2. Second Floor:
   • Ascend the ornate staircase to the second floor. Be wary of the Golden Golems that animate as you approach. These enemies have high defense; focus on breaking their guard with powerful attacks or using debuffs.
   • On the far western side of the second floor, behind a collapsed bookshelf, locate a hidden alcove containing a chest with the "Tome of Ancient Runes". This item is vital for a later puzzle.

Navigating the Royal Chambers

Boss Battle: The Auric Guardian

The Auric Guardian is a formidable foe with high HP and devastating AoE attacks. This battle will test your party's synergy and your ability to adapt.

  • The Guardian begins with a powerful shield that significantly reduces all damage.
  • Strategy: Focus on breaking its guard. Chain together powerful attacks and use skills that inflict the "Break" status. Avoid using your most powerful skills until the shield is down.
  • Attack Pattern: It primarily uses sweeping physical attacks and a cone-shaped energy blast. Dodge or block these.

  • Once its shield is broken, the Guardian becomes more aggressive, but also more vulnerable.
