Learn about the various ships encountered in Star Wars: Zero Company, including TIE Advanced, Transports, Shuttles, Freighters, and capital ships like the Imperial Star Destroyer.

This section details various ships encountered in Star Wars: Zero Company, providing insights into their capabilities, armaments, and tactical considerations.

TIE Advanced
Encountered at the Battle of Yavin and later, this Imperial fighter is an advanced superiority craft armed with quad lasers and a dual missile launcher. It's the first TIE design with shielding and a hyperdrive, making it a significant threat. Its speed and maneuverability are dangerous; avoid letting it get behind you.

Transport
Used by both the Alliance and Empire, transports are armed with ion cannons for disabling targets and can carry troops for boarding. They are slow and bulky, making them vulnerable in close combat. Typically, one or two torpedoes are sufficient to destroy them. Be cautious of collisions when engaging them up close.

Shuttle
Normally personnel carriers, these shuttles have been armed with powerful laser cannons. They are sluggish but have a tendency to ram opponents. It's best to engage them from long range with torpedoes or missiles. If you must get close, keep them in sight to avoid ramming.

Freighter
These are the primary cargo transport ships. While not armed, they can carry hidden threats like escaped pilots or spies. Alone, they pose no threat.

Container
Containers can be more than just cargo receptacles; some serve as makeshift bases or hangars for enemy fighters. Inspection is required to determine their true nature.

Tug
Tugs are weak but essential for repairing and rearming craft, and shuttling pilots. Destroying them before they complete their tasks can make engagements easier.

Corellian Corvette
Fast transports for cargo and personnel, also used in attack and support roles. Nicknamed "blockade runner," they are protected by multiple laser turrets. A blind spot exists directly behind them, level with the ship. Four torpedoes disable shields, and two more destroy the corvette.

Nebulon B Frigate
Used by both factions, these frigates are not capital ships but are effective against starfighters due to their ability to carry squadrons and their numerous turbolaser batteries. Taking one down requires skill; use torpedoes and ion cannons. A disabled frigate is an easy target.

Calamari Cruiser
The Alliance's main capital ship, capable of engaging Star Destroyers. They serve as mobile command posts and carry fighter squadrons and troop regiments.

Imperial Star Destroyer
A 1.6 km long, intimidating capital ship, the pride of the Imperial Navy. It carries a full wing of fighters and troop regiments and can inflict heavy damage. Taking one down requires significant skill and planning. Prioritize destroying the shield generators located above the bridge to make it vulnerable to torpedoes and ion cannons.

Interdictor
Designed to prevent enemy escape, the Interdictor's primary weapon is its gravity well generators, which trap ships in an area, preventing hyperspace jumps. It can also defend itself offensively.
