Hey there! Ready to dive into Part 37 of our Star Wars: Zero Company journey? This time, we're focusing on a pretty unique character: AG-37, an IG-series assassin droid who's seen it all. AG-37 wasn't your typical droid. He operated after the Second Imperial Civil War and even visited Ania Solo's junkyard on Carreras Minor. What's cool is that he developed his own personality and goals, even running a freighter and helping people out. He even made a promise to Han Solo and Chewbacca way back when! His story gets really interesting when he gets involved with Ania Solo and the rogue Sith, Darth Wredd. During the Carreras Incident, Wredd, who was impersonating Imperial Knight Yalta Val, attacked Ania's junkyard looking for his "lightsaber." Ania and her friend Sauk had to escape on AG-37's freighter. They ended up rescuing the real Yalta Val and teaming up with Jao Assam to stop Wredd. They managed to rescue Val on the floating world of Mala, but Wredd got away and even crashed the Carreras communications array onto the planet. During the chaos, AG-37 was famously sliced in half by Wredd's lightsaber! Don't worry though, being a droid, Ania and Sauk were able to repair him. After that, AG-37 and Sauk continued their travels, eventually learning about a resettlement operation on the poisoned planet of Calamari. They also picked up a distress signal from Ania and Jao, who were hunting Darth Wredd. It turns out Jao had a Force vision warning that Wredd was planning to kill Empress Marasiah Fel. Jao and Ania went to Dac, where they found another Sith, Darth Luft, enslaving Mon Calamari and Quarren refugees to build pirate ships. Luft captured Jao and Ania and jettisoned them in an escape pod into Dac's poisoned oceans. Thankfully, AG-37 and Sauk managed to dive their freighter and rescue them! Things got a bit tense though, as AG-37 and Ania wanted to wait for Galactic Federation Triumvirate reinforcements, but Jao wanted to go after Darth Luft immediately. They couldn't agree, so AG-37, Ania, Sauk, and a Mon Calamari refugee named Luen decided to head out on AG-37's freighter. What happens next? We'll find out in the next part!
