The Stormgate is a heavily guarded area that marks the border within Limgrave and Stormhill. Only the foolhardy would rush such against such odds

The Stormgate is found in [Stormhill](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Stormhill "Elden Ring Stormhill"), [Limgrave](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Limgrave "Elden Ring Limgrave"), north from the Network Test starting point, just after [Gatefront Ruins](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Gatefront+Ruins "Elden Ring Gatefront Ruins"). It is a path that is heavily guarded and leads to the [Stormhill](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Stormhill "Elden Ring Stormhill") region.

Walkthrough: The entrance of Stormgate can be found on the north side of [Gatefront Ruins](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Gatefront+Ruins "Elden Ring Gatefront Ruins") in [Limgrave](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Limgrave "Elden Ring Limgrave"). There is a [Site of Grace](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Sites+of+Grace "Elden Ring Sites of Grace") by the entrance, don't forget to activate it as your checkpoint in case you die. Right off the bat, as you walk up the slope, you'll hear a loud roar and a Troll will appear, you'll also notice multiple guards on each corner, as well as barricades along the path. The Stormgate is a guarded narrow path that leads to the [Stormhill](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Stormhill "Elden Ring Stormhill") region. If you want to avoid any combat here (which is possible), you can do so by horseback riding. Just make sure you have the [Spectral Steed Whistle](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Spectral+Steed+Whistle "Elden Ring Spectral Steed Whistle") item before you rush through the barricades and the enemies. There should also be a chariot in the area leading out of [Gatefront Ruins](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Gatefront+Ruins "Elden Ring Gatefront Ruins") where you can open the chest and obtain a [Lordsworn's Greatsword](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Lordsworn's+Greatsword "Elden Ring Lordsworn's Greatsword").
