We'll walk you through his whole questline, step-by-step, so you don't miss a thing. First off, you'll find Bernahl at the Warmaster's Shack in Limgrave. He's a friendly face who sells some useful Ashes of War. As you progress, he'll eventually move to the Volcano Manor. To get him to move to the Volcano Manor, you'll need to join Lady Tanith's cause. Once you're a member, Bernahl will be there alongside other interesting characters like Patches and Rya. Now, here's a crucial tip: don't rush to fight Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy! You'll want to wait until you've reached the Mountaintops of the Giants. This is because you need to complete all the NPC invasions for the Volcano Manor before taking on Rykard. This includes invasions from Old Knight Istvan, Rileigh the Idle, Great Horned Tragoth, Vargram the Raging Wolf + Errant Sorcerer Wilhelm, and Juno Hoslow, Knight of Blood. Make sure you also complete Rya's questline before defeating Juno Hoslow. If you don't, you might miss out on some important dialogue with Tanith about Rya.
