World 2-1

You'll start off heading right. If you need a boost, grab the Fire Flower from the first block you see. Keep moving right and carefully make your way across some tilting brick platforms. Watch out for those Piranha Plants popping out between them! If you're feeling ambitious and want some red rings, you can activate them right after this section.

Up ahead, you'll notice two blocks stacked above each other. The left one is hiding another Fire Flower, so grab it if you want more firepower. Now, here's the first secret: jump from these blocks towards the upper-right ceiling. You should find Star Coin #1 tucked away up there.

After snagging that coin, drop back down and hit the Checkpoint flag – always good to save your progress! Just past that, you'll see a yellow pipe nestled in a lower alcove. Head down this pipe.

Inside this underground area, you'll find a block containing a Midas Flower. This is super cool! When you have the Midas Flower and shoot fireballs, it turns enemies and even regular bricks into piles of coins. Make your way through this room, taking out the Koopa Troopas first, and then the Goombas.

Keep an eye out for a more solid-looking ledge above you. Jump onto it to find Star Coin #2. Be careful not to rush too much; make sure you've collected this coin before continuing to clear out the rest of the room. Once you're done, exit through the right side.

As soon as you pop out, immediately go left. You'll see some musical note blocks below. Jump on them and wait for the Paratroopa flying above to move out of the way. Once it's clear, bounce off the note blocks and onto the rotating L-shaped ledge above. This is where you'll find Star Coin #3.

With all the Star Coins collected, just continue heading right. You'll pass the remaining enemies and ledges, and then it's a straight shot to the flagpole to finish the level!
