World 2-4

From the start, go right. You can hit the random ability block if you wish. Use a Koopa Troopa shell to break the single brick in the right wall. Run and crouch under the broken brick. Hit the block inside to obtain a Star.

Continue upward and slide under another low wall to collect Star Coin #1. If you acquired the Star, hitting some blocks ahead while invincible may yield additional Stars.

Make your way upward and to the right along the ledges. Activate the checkpoint (a save point).

Hit the block to the right, above you, to get a Fire Flower. If you have a Leaf power-up, avoid this block.

Keep going right until you see a yellow pipe in the ground. Go down this pipe.

Activate the gold ring to collect extra coins from the endless supply of Goombas below.

Destroy the single brick in the ground (it is recommended to have a Leaf power-up for this). Walk through the opening and drop onto a block below.

This block will sink into a hidden room where you can find more coins and Star Coin #2. Exit this hidden room via the right pipe.

Once you emerge, hop your way upward to the top of the pyramid structure. Hit the blocks there to get another Fire Flower if desired.

Go right. You will see a trail of coins within a gap. Avoid these coins for now and continue to the far right.

Drop into a hidden alcove where Star Coin #3 can be found.

Follow the long trail of coins downward to a pipe far below. Go through this pipe.

Defeat the Pokey (an enemy made of stacked segments) to get a clear running jump to the flagpole, completing the stage.
