Many vital resources can be found scattered throughout the world, often in precarious locations or guarded by formidable foes. Understanding where to find these materials will significantly impact your ability to craft powerful upgrades and consumables.

Iron Ore is a common but essential component for basic weapon and armor reinforcement. Look for veins of this ore in rocky outcrops and cave systems, particularly in the early-game areas like the Whispering Caves. You'll often find clusters of 3-5 Iron Ore deposits near the entrance and deeper within the cave.

Glimmering Dust, crucial for enchanting weapons with elemental properties, is more elusive. These shimmering particles can be harvested from defeated magical creatures or found in small caches within ancient ruins. A reliable source is the Sunken Temple, where several Glimmering Dust nodes can be found near the altar room, often guarded by spectral knights. Be prepared to face at least two of them to secure the dust.

Shadowbloom Petals are vital for brewing potent healing and buffing elixirs. These rare flowers bloom only in areas touched by darkness, such as the Cursed Mire. You can typically find 2-3 Shadowbloom Petals near the twisted trees on the western edge of the Mire, but they are often surrounded by poisonous flora and aggressive Mire Lurkers. It's advisable to have at least one Antidote Potion before venturing into this area.

Dragon Scales, used in the creation of high-tier armor and unique weapon modifications, are exceptionally rare. The most consistent location to farm Dragon Scales is by defeating the Wyvern of the Peaks, a boss found in the Dragon's Lair. This encounter typically yields 1-2 Dragon Scales upon victory. Alternatively, a small cache of 3 Dragon Scales can sometimes be found in a hidden chest behind a waterfall in the Frozen Pass, but this chest is often guarded by a Frost Giant.

Ancient Runes are required for unlocking powerful passive abilities and crafting legendary items. These can be found in forgotten tombs and ancient libraries. The Library of Whispers, located in the heart of the Forgotten City, contains several Ancient Rune fragments. Be aware that this area is patrolled by Librarian Golems, which are resistant to physical damage and can cast powerful arcane spells. Clearing the area of 4 Librarian Golems is often a prerequisite to safely collecting the runes.
