Progress Main Quests to Unlock New Maps
To unlock new maps or regions in The First Descendant, simply progress through the main quest and complete all the missions in your current region. Between unlocks, you'll also need to battle Void Intercept Bosses.
Complete All Main Quests to Unlock Hard Mode Maps
You can also unlock hard mode versions of all maps after completing all main quests in normal mode. In hard mode, all enemies and weapons are at max level, but the rewards for all missions in this mode are increased.
