[8.7]. Mission 7 - Carrington Institute: Defense (3)

Reactivate automatic defenses: After the cut-scene, strafe right and kill the Skedar monster. Go down the ramps, turn left, cross the helipad, and go through the doorway to your right. Cross the next helipad and go through the door to your right. Head through the next door, turn left, then right, and activate the control panel. Go down the tunnel to the right of the control panel. Make a right, go through the large blue doors, go left, and follow the tunnel to another blue door. Turn left to find and activate another control panel. Return to the tunnel to the right of the first control panel, run past the boxes, go through the doors, and continue until you reach another door. Enter it, turn left to find the last control panel, and activate it. Return up the ramps to the top.

Release hostages: Turn left, run past the brown doors, and take the elevator on your right. At the top, use a Combat Boost (slows down time) to go right and into a door. Kill the guards holding hostages. Leave the room and enter the adjacent room, quickly kill the guards holding hostages. Take the elevator back down to the lobby. Exit the elevator, go right to the last brown double door on your right. Move around to the left and kill the guards to save hostages. Leave this room and go left to the other brown double doors. Kill the guards holding hostages and free them.

Retrieve experimental weapon: In the same room where you freed hostages, find a weapon in a glass case next to a computer desk. Activate the computer, then open the glass case to get the experimental weapon.

Destroy sensitive information: Take the elevator to the top floor. Go through the door at the end of the hallway to your left. Inside, go to the steel on the back wall and use your laser to shoot it until it is destroyed, revealing sensitive information. Destroy the sensitive information with your laser.

Deactivate bomb: Run back into the lobby near where you started. Take the ramps down to the end and through the halls. Make a left at the end of the hall and across the helipad. Run to the Ship and use the Data Uplink on it to download the virus. Run back through the hallway you came through, keeping right. Go through the door at the end on your right to complete the objective.
