Chapter 12 - The Sleeping Giant

Speak to Big Lo in front of you.

Head to the roof to continue the conversation, then return to the bar.

Travel back to Onomichi.

As you arrive, defeat the crowd of enemies that attack you, including two boss fighters.

Proceed to the Hirose HQ and defeat Nagumo.

Take down the additional Yomei punks that appear.

Begin the puzzle to crack the code of Onomichi by finding all nine poem stones. Their locations are: east of the Oyster Shack; middle of National Route 2 on the north side; on the stairs leading up to Ryunan Shrine; at Ryunan Shrine; west of the Cemetery on a corner of Cemetery Lane; at the intersection of Hilltop Path and Second Hill; next to the Ropeway Station; up the mountain at Senkoji Temple, at the far end; and the Observation Deck of the mountain (walk from the back of Senkoji Temple up to it).

After visiting all nine stones, return to Hirose HQ to decode the message, which will reveal a grave in the cemetery.

Head to the cemetery grave to find the next lead to the secret of Onomichi.

Go to the docks and board Ino's boat.

Assault Iwami's shipyard: defeat all enemies, then head through the open door.

Pick up the Toughness ZZ on your right and continue ahead, up the stairs.

Hop onto a girder and cross it, then continue on.

Engage and defeat the enemies along the path.

Head down the ladders and across the open area, picking up a Staminan XX.

Continue along the path until you reach the last group of enemies.

Head underground and defeat the many boss-type enemies.

Continue through the paths until you reach a wall. Grab the nearby hammer and smash through it.

Move ahead through the dark tunnel, watching for ambushing enemies. Grab the Staminan XX in the third side-hole on the right if needed.

At the end, fight the katana-wielding enemy. Avoid his wide swings and strike his back.

After defeating him, Nagumo will stay behind. Proceed with Tagashira through the door.

Head down the stairs outside and grab a Toughness Infinity at the bottom.

Follow Tagashira to the next fight and defeat the large group of enemies.

Face the final boss of the chapter. Avoid his wide swings, grabs, and knife tosses. When steam covers the area, wait for his attacks and press the quick-time event buttons. Use his dropped knives for a Heat Action. Defeat him to discover the secret of Onomichi.
