Master the Title, Pause, Game, and Audio Settings menus in The Lullaby of Life. Learn how to manage tasks, items, stats, and customize your gameplay experience.

This guide covers the various menus available in The Lullaby of Life, including the Title Menu, Pause Menu, Game Settings, and Audio Settings.

Title Menu

The Title Menu offers the following options:

• New Game: Start a new adventure, selecting your difficulty.
• Continue: Load a previously saved game.
• Memories: View story recaps from previous games.
• Game Settings: Access general game options.
• Audio Settings: Adjust audio preferences.
• 2-Player Vs. Minigames: Play minigames like Virtua Fighter 5 FS or Puyo Puyo against a friend.

Additional options may appear after completing the game.

Pause Menu

Accessible via the Options/Menu button (on a Sony Xperia phone interface), the Pause Menu provides:

• Tasks: View current story objectives and substory progress.
• Items: Manage your inventory, categorized into Recovery, Food/Drink, Other, and Valuables. Note: There is no Item Box; each item has a carry limit (e.g., five Toughness Zs).
• Stats: Access the Stats screen to apply experience for upgrades and equip Gear.
• Clan Creator: View your Clan Creator hierarchy once unlocked.
• Inbox: Read incoming texts.
• Troublr: Access the Troublr App to find local cleanup missions.
• Photos: View your collected photos.
• Awards: Track your progress on various completion metrics.
• Settings: Access sub-menus for Character Profiles, Controls, Game Settings, Audio Settings, Save options, and Quit Game.

Game Settings

Accessible from both the Title and Pause Menus:

• Difficulty: Adjust the game's difficulty (only while in-game).
• Auto Camera: Toggle automatic camera movement.
• Camera Control: Adjust Vertical, Horizontal, and First-Person camera settings (Normal/Inverted).
• Camera Movement Speed: Set the camera's rotation speed.
• Minimap Display: Toggle the minimap on or off.
• Minimap Rotation: Choose whether the minimap rotates with the camera or stays fixed with north at the top.
• Subtitles: Enable or disable subtitles for cutscenes.
• Blood Level: Adjust the amount of blood splatter shown in fights.
• Gamma and Brightness: Fine-tune screen brightness.

Audio Settings

Accessible from both the Title and Pause Menus:

• Headphone Volume: Adjust volume when using headphones.
• Controller Speaker: Enable sounds (like phone ringtones) to play from the controller.
• Controller Volume: Adjust the controller speaker's volume.
• Ringtone: Select a ringtone for Kiryu's cell phone.
• Speaker Type: Choose between Stereo or Surround sound setups.
• Front: Adjust the sound angle for front speakers.
