Gideon's Rock is a sprawling, overgrown park area with numerous hidden paths and secrets. While the main objective will lead you through its central areas, several characters require your assistance, offering valuable rewards and expanding the lore of Jericho City. Be prepared for challenging encounters with augmented wildlife and rogue security forces.

The Good Samaritan

This quest begins shortly after you enter Gideon's Rock for the first time. You'll encounter a distraught survivor named Penny near the initial medbay, just past the collapsed highway section.

• Objective: Find Penny's Missing Drone Parts
• Location: Penny explains that her drone was shot down and its parts scattered across the park. The first part, a Drone Actuator, is located near the large waterfall in the central area of Gideon's Rock. You'll need to navigate a series of ledges and defeat a couple of augmented P.A.X. units to reach it.
• The second part, a Drone Stabilizer, can be found in the northern section of the park, near the entrance to the CREO World of Tomorrow exhibit. Look for a small, overgrown cave system guarded by several Scarab-type enemies.
• The final part, a Drone Control Unit, is located in the eastern part of Gideon's Rock, within the dilapidated research facility. You'll need to bypass a locked door (requires Security Clearance Level 3, obtainable from a defeated security officer in the same area) to access the room containing the part.
• Reward: Return all three parts to Penny. She will repair her drone and grant you the "Good Samaritan" Implant, which provides a small but consistent health regeneration bonus. You'll also receive 15,000 Tech Scraps.

Nature's Call

Deep within Gideon's Rock, you'll stumble upon a hidden encampment of environmental activists. Speak to their leader, Gaia, who is concerned about the ecological damage caused by CREO's experiments.

• Objective: Disable CREO's Environmental Disruptors
• Location: Gaia will mark three environmental disruptors on your map. These devices are heavily guarded by CREO security personnel and augmented animals.
• The first disruptor is located in the Botanical Gardens, a greenhouse-like structure in the western part of the park. Be wary of the poisonous gas emitted by some of the plants.
• The second disruptor is situated in the Hydroponics Lab, an underground facility accessible via a hidden entrance near the large lake. This area is teeming with powerful aquatic enemies.
• The third and final disruptor is found atop the Observation Tower in the southeastern corner of Gideon's Rock. You'll need to ascend several levels, fighting through waves of drone swarms and elite security units.
• Strategy: Each disruptor requires you to interact with a console to disable it. Before doing so, clear the surrounding area of enemies to avoid interruptions. Consider using ranged weapons or drones to thin out enemy numbers from a safe distance.
• Reward: Disabling all three disruptors and reporting back to Gaia will earn you the "Nature's Guardian" Gear Set Blueprint, a lightweight armor set focused on elemental resistance, and 20,000 Tech Scraps.

The Hunter's Quarry

As you explore the more remote sections of Gideon's Rock, particularly the dense jungle areas, you may encounter a series of strange traps and animal carcasses. Following these clues will eventually lead you to Silas, a reclusive hunter.

• Objective: Track and Eliminate the Alpha Predator
• Location: Silas explains that an unusually aggressive and powerful augmented beast, dubbed the "Alpha Predator," has been terrorizing the wildlife and posing a threat to his survival. He'll ask you to hunt it down.
• The Alpha Predator's lair is located in a hidden cave system deep within the Forgotten Canyon, accessible only by a precarious rope bridge.
• Strategy: The Alpha Predator is a formidable boss-level enemy. It possesses high health, fast attacks, and unique elemental abilities. Before engaging, ensure your gear is upgraded and you have plenty of healing injectables. Focus on dodging its powerful charges and looking for openings after its attack sequences. Consider equipping implants that boost your stamina regeneration or provide damage resistance.
• Reward: Defeating the Alpha Predator and returning to Silas will reward you with the "Alpha Predator's Claw" Weapon (a powerful one-handed weapon with a unique elemental effect) and 25,000 Tech Scraps. Silas will also offer to craft you a special implant, the "Hunter's Instinct" Implant, which highlights enemy weak points, for an additional 10,000 Tech Scraps.
