Learn about special training, the ex story, and Idolaspheres in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. Start the ex story in Chapter 2.

Tsubasa's Glasses Setting: After choosing your difficulty, you can decide if Tsubasa Oribe should wear glasses with her casual outfits. This choice does not impact the story and can be changed anytime in the settings menu.

Special Training: Beginning in Chapter 1, a special Idolasphere is available at Bloom Palace for Itsuki and his friends to train. This training helps the party grow and is useful if enemies feel too difficult or if you lack training time. Each training session can be repeated multiple times. However, you cannot save during special training, and losing a battle results in a game over. Over-training Itsuki's party might reduce enjoyment of the battle system.

Training Area: Within the training area, enemies drop tomes that grant experience. As you defeat enemies, others will grow stronger, making retreat a wise option at times. Items are hidden in the four corners of this dungeon and will vanish if not claimed quickly.

Ex Story: The ex story is divided into small chapters that run alongside the main and side stories. These chapters reveal new scenes from the protagonists' lives and careers, and allow you to obtain new skills and costumes. To start the ex story, speak with Tiki at Bloom Palace during the intermission of Chapter 2.

Area of Aspiration: During the intermission of Chapter 2, you can access the Area of Aspiration through a gate in Bloom Palace. Progressing through this Idolasphere advances the ex story. Treasure boxes within this Idolasphere may contain skills and costumes in addition to regular items.

Opening Protected Boxes: Some treasure boxes in the Area of Aspiration are protected by a mysterious power and require specific experience to open. You can open these boxes by making sufficient progress in the side stories of the associated cast member and experiencing the consequences of their artistic ambitions.

Jump-in Session Skills: These are unique session skills for cast members who don't normally battle, allowing them to join in during battle sessions. The conditions for participation are the same as usual, enhancing mid-battle performances.

Continuing the Ex Story: Each chapter of the ex story requires meeting certain conditions by progressing through the main and/or side stories. You can check the laptop in the Fortuna Office to see the current conditions needed to proceed.
