Navigate the treacherous mineshaft as Mike in Until Dawn (Remake). Master QTEs, make crucial choices, and survive the dangers lurking within. Your guide to success!

Alright, so you're Mike and you've found yourself in this creepy mineshaft. Don't worry, I'll walk you through it. First thing's first: you'll hear a noise above you. Look through Mike's rifle scope – you'll see someone up there. You have a choice here: shoot or don't shoot. Honestly, it only makes a tiny difference to how a character looks later on, so don't stress too much about it.

Now, it's time for some Quick Time Events (QTEs). Don't sweat failing these; Mike can't die at this point, so just try your best. You'll start by needing to press TRIANGLE at the top of the ramp.

After that, you've got a choice to make: climb the safe way or the quick way. Both have their own set of QTEs, so let's break 'em down:

Once you're at the top, Mike spots someone walking away. They'll eventually point a gun at him, and you get to decide whether to shoot. It doesn't really matter, though, because either way, Mike's gun will be out of ammo. This is true even if you shot up the elevator shaft earlier.

As that person leaves, the shutter starts to close. If you were fast with your climbing QTEs, you'll get a chance to slide under. You need to press TRIANGLE to make Mike slide under the shutter.

Heads up: If you were too slow or messed up the QTEs while climbing, the shutter will slam shut. Mike will then have to take an alternate path. After dropping down, just walk towards the front of the screen and follow the path until Mike's lighter goes out. You'll need to flick it back on.
