In Voidtrain, players encounter two main categories of quests: Story Quests, which are largely mandatory for progression, and Additional Quests, which are optional and can be completed at any time. This guide details both types.

Story Quests

These quests are crucial for advancing through the game's narrative. The main Story Quests include:

Improvisation

This quest introduces players to the Research Table and initial inventions.

1. Collect 2 x Scrap Metal and 2 x Wood from the Void.
2. Build a Research Table on your train.
3. Research the "Smelter I" technology using resources found in the Void.
4. Build Smelter I.
5. Smelt an Iron Bar using Smelter I.

Basics

This quest focuses on essential crafting and research milestones.

1. Research and build "Container I" using the Research Table and Crafting Book.
2. Research and build "Workbench I" using the Research Table and Crafting Book.
3. Complete Technology Stage 2 by finishing main technologies.
