Complete the 'Purge Them All' achievement in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 by marking all Tyranid and Chaos enemy types. Learn enemy locations and marking strategies.
Marking enemies in Space Marine 2 is done by getting close, aiming, and pressing the [up] button. This action also indicates locations, so be mindful to avoid accidental pings. Marking counts towards the achievement in both Campaign and Operations modes, requiring completion of at least half a dozen missions to mark all unique enemy types.
Tyranid Enemies
Tyranids are encountered early in the campaign. Most minoris/majoris variants appear by Mission 2: Severance. Extremis enemies like Ravener, Zoanthrope, and Lictor are also likely encountered in the first two missions. A Carnifex appears in Missions 3 and 5. A Neurothrope can spawn in Operations 1, 2, 3, and 6 on Substantial or Ruthless threat levels. The Hive Tyrant is a boss exclusive to Operation 2: Decapitation.
The main challenge with Tyranids is marking the five distinct Tyranid Warrior variants (two melee, three ranged). Pay close attention to their weapon types to identify them.

Chaos Enemies
Chaos enemies, servants of Tzeentch, begin appearing in the latter half of Mission 4: Servant of the Machine. They are harder to mark due to their scarcity and visual similarity. Standard Cultists are easily distinguished from Cultists with Long-Las by the blue targeting line they emit when aiming. Be cautious, as Cultists are fragile and can be defeated by simply running or dodging into them.
Tzangors, whether shielded or not, fall under a single category. Thousand Sons variants include the Rubric Marine with Warpflamer (identifiable by flames), and two larger Terminator variants. Lesser Sorcerers are flying enemies. Their ability to teleport and use ranged attacks can make marking them challenging.
Two Helbrutes appear in the campaign: one in Mission 6: Dawn’s Descent and another in Mission 7: Bellum Semperternus. The Mission 6 Helbrute is the most accessible for marking. The Heldrake is a boss exclusive to Operation 4: Reliquary and can be difficult to mark due to its distance.
