    Keitaro Miura's Main Battery Mega Railgun is a more powerful, more expensive version of the Heavy Railgun, similar to Kisaragi’s Condenser-enhanced Railgun. It is best to use Miura’s default Heavy Railgun unenhanced until its damage is insufficient, then purchase and use the Main Battery Mega Railgun instead.

    The Long Range EMP Missiles armament, unlocked from EMP Stunner, deals minimal damage and EMPs kaiju in an area for 10 seconds, costing 100 EP/6 WT. While theoretically usable for continuous EMP, it is generally less effective than simply destroying kaiju, especially after full enhancement which requires many chips. EMP Stunner performs this role better and cheaper.

    Wide-Range Bombardment, which requires enhancing the Anti-Air Bombardment, hits ground targets with the same area of effect as Anti-Air Bombardment but with about half the damage. It suffers from the same short range issue as its prerequisite, requiring kaiju to be close for effectiveness despite its large splash damage.

    Recommended armaments for Keitaro Miura include Long Range Missiles, Main Battery Mega Railgun, Missile Rain, and Super Large Missile.

Keitaro’s Skills:

  • Now, Natsuno-San!: Increases Natsuno’s attack power if she attacks immediately after Miura. This skill has tight timing and requires synchronized attacks with similar Weapon Weight (WT), which is difficult to maintain, especially with Natsuno’s FCD (Fast Charge Drive). It is also a percentage chance to trigger, not guaranteed.
  • Big Brother: Increases all stats after Chihiro contacts the team. This condition occurs only twice in the normal story. It can be triggered on-demand by bringing Gouto and damaging him to critical health, as Chihiro contacts Gouto during his low-health cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically), but this tactic is not recommended.
  • Prepared for Death: Similar to Hijiyama’s Pride of Japan and Shinonome’s Not Dead Yet, this skill is considered useless.
  • Soldier, Guardian, Demon: Causes an explosion when his Sentinel is destroyed, but its effectiveness and range are questionable.
  • Tactics Drill: Similar to Hijiyama’s skill, it is functional but underwhelming.
  • Classmate: Raises attack if Miura attacks after Hijiyama, but the timing is usually difficult to achieve.

Keitaro’s Defensive Armament:

Main Battery Heavy Railgun. The defensive version is significantly weaker, shorter, and thinner than the offensive version, comparable to a G4’s Convergent Lasers. It deals just enough damage to destroy unenhanced small kaiju.
