Initiation 2: Casey

After picking up the Subway Pass, head north along Ocean Ave. and enter an alley to the west.

Follow the alley and meet Alex Casey. When the light goes out, follow him and pick up his Revolver and Flashlight, unlocking the Find the Light trophy.

Approach the bright light and use Shift Light to open a narrow alleyway to the west.

Duck under boards and follow the alley to the end. Shine your torch at the wall to find a Word of Fix (1/28), unlocking the Carry his Words trophy. Words of Power are Alan's upgrade system, spend the point in your Mind Place.

Continue through the door back to the previous area.

Head back towards Ocean Drive. Dodge an attacking shadow, burn its shield with your torch, and shoot it. Burn away darkness nodes at the alley's end with your torch to return to Ocean Avenue.

Head south to Wheeler St., cross to the south side, and head west past the Talk Show Studio. Look for a _Cold Casey_ poster and shine your torch on the pavement underneath to find a second Word of Fix (2/28).

Return to Ocean St. and head north. Past the alley, televisions in Vision TV's window will turn on, unlocking the _Writing_ Writer's Journey video (2/9).

Backtrack to the phone booths and head east through Caldera St. Plaza. Reach Draft St. and follow arrows to find a Word of Action (3/28) on the railway bridge above.

Fight off any enemies. Search behind three telephone kiosks to your right for a red box with supplies.

Continue north to a garbage truck, turn right, and find a supply container next to a cardboard shelter.

The entrance to Caldera St. Station is missing. Go to the eastern end of the street and Shift Light to clear rubbish blocking a staircase.

Go up the stairs, cross railway tracks, and look for a ladder to the roof.

At the top, look for the _Cold Casey_ billboard. To find a collectable Echo, look right for a ladder to a higher level.

Climb the ledge, round the corner, and unlock the _Cold Case_ Echo (1/6).

Go back down the ladder and through the door under the billboard. Go down stairs and through the bottom door to another rooftop.

Find a Break Room to the left with a supply container.

Go to the southwest corner of the roof for a Suitcase Stash (1/13) containing two Hand Flares, a Trauma Pad, and handgun ammo.

Go to the opposite corner and hear humming. Grab supplies under nearby stairs and head up.

Enter the room at the top to find Sheriff Tim Breaker. Exhaust his conversation options.

Examine the board for notes on Warlin Door. Examine the map on the wall to update your own map with points of interest. Grab supplies before going back down stairs.

Cross the roof, go up stairs. Shine your torch down on the rooftop below to unlock a Word of Lamp (4/28).

Continue across boards, turn left. Follow the wall left to find a supply container. Climb the ladder near the door and head right along scaffolding until you align the _Hard Case_ Echo (2/6).

Climb back down the ladder and go through the door marked "LOST". Go up steps and out the door.

Turn right and unlock the gate at the alley's end to create a shortcut to Caldera St.

Return to the door, head south until you see a parked taxi.

Shift Light; the car transforms into a police car. Shadows spawn; deal with the two enemies.

Enter the doorway they emerged from and note the "Find Alice" graffiti. Look above it for a Word of Gun (5/28).

Turn around and look for a ladder to an "Art House" sign. Climb the ladder and walk along the walkway.

Pass an air conditioning unit, shine your torch on the ground next to it to unlock a Word of War (6/28).

Find a supply container between the next two air conditioning units.

Return to street level and look for a tow truck. Go to its side to find a Suitcase Stash (2/13) containing a Flashbang, Painkillers, and batteries.
