Alan Wake 2 Return 7: Summoning walkthrough. Find the It's Not a Lake Manuscript Page and survive the ritual on the Cauldron Lake shoreline.
Walkthrough
- 1Head north through a hole in the fence and past the Rental Cabins, fighting an enemy.
- 2Take the winding path west then south towards the Witch's Hut.
- 3Follow vehicular debris down towards the stream, then follow the south bank downstream.
- 4Cross the stream just south of the Private Cabin. You can visit the Private Cabin and use the Break Room there.
- 5If enemies appear, run to the nearby Safe Haven (a safe zone).
- 6Follow the path southwest and south to a picnic area.
- 7Fight off Taken and use your torch to burn away the darkness blocking the bridge.
- 8You will find the It's Not a Lake Manuscript Page (56/56) on the ground just before you reach the lakeshore.
- 9Make your way down to the shoreline where Estevez and the Anderson Brothers are set up.
- 10Grab supplies from the flight cases and leave Propane Canisters scattered around the beach.
- 11Ensure you have plenty of healing items in your quick slots and equip a Coffee Mug Charm.
- 12Go to the Andersons' bus and tell them to start the ritual.
- 13Survive the summoning ritual as Odin announces their new song, Dark Ocean Summoning.
- 14When Tor gets the timing wrong, the brothers start again and Taken emerge from the lake.
- 15Defeat standard Taken, Bruisers, a Thrower, and a Diver. Estevez will throw flares and Alex will drop ammo from the flight cases.
- 16The goal is to survive until the brothers finish their song, not necessarily kill every enemy, but be careful about being swarmed.
- 17When told enemies are going after the brothers, you are nearly at the end. Use Hand Flares to keep enemies at bay and move to the next stage.
- 18If low on health, heal before using the Clicker.
- 19An Overlap (a dimensional anomaly) will appear on the shoreline; go to it and press the switch to use the Clicker.
Tips
- Make sure you have plenty of healing items available through quick slots.
- Equip a Coffee Mug Charm.
- Use Hand Flares to keep enemies at bay when they start targeting the Andersons.
- Heal if you are low on health before using the Clicker.
