Initiation 8: Zane's Film

Full walkthrough for Initiation 8: Zane's Film in Alan Wake 2. Find all collectibles, solve puzzles, and defeat enemies in The Dark Place and Poet's Cinema.

Walkthrough:

1. The Dark Place: Use the lift to return to reception. Behind the desk, the TV will play Dr. Darling's Message (2/2). Leave the hotel and head towards the distant spotlights. Go to the southeast corner of the plaza to find a supply container and potentially Hostile Shadows. Head south down Draft St. The direct route to the cinema is blocked by a locked gate. To the left, find the car wash entrance blocked by darkness. Use your torch to destroy the barrier.
2. A supply container is to the left of the car wash entrance. Inside, a shadow may attack. Continue through the carwash, grab supplies from a filing cabinet, and duck under the garage door to exit.
3. Get Inside: Ignore the cinema and go through a gate to the side of the car wash. Look through the window to spot and destroy a darkness node with your torch.
4. Head back to the front and look through the window to spot and destroy three more darkness nodes.
5. Return to the car wash; the previously blocked door is now open. Go through the staff locker room and another door to find Tim Breaker. Exhaust his dialogue options and check his map.
6. Back on the street, find a grey van. Stand in front of it and look east to unlock the Echo: Worst Case (5/6).
7. Go to the other end of the street and head south into a road tunnel. Fight off any Hostile Shadows. Look up and left to find a Word of Aid (24/28).
8. Go deeper into the tunnel and search between spaces to find a Suitcase Stash (10/13) containing a Flashbang, Painkillers, shotgun ammo, and flare gun ammo.
9. Climb the ladder to the right of the tunnel entrance. On the walkway, look north for an Alex Casey billboard. Continue right to align the Echo: Murder Case (6/6).
10. Climb back down and go to the ticket booth at the front of the cinema. Hand over Alan's Movie Ticket to open the doors.
11. Poet's Cinema: Head through the entrance towards the Refreshments sign to unlock the Scene: Lobby.
12. Go into the room behind the Concession Stand and check the noticeboard to unlock the Poet's Cinema map (11/11). Find supplies in a fridge and more in a locker in the back room.
