A Meal and a Memory Walkthrough

Speak with Sa’nop at High Loom Camp: First things first, you need to find Sa'nop. He's hanging out at High Loom Camp, which is located in the Kinglor Forest, just northeast of Hometree. Look for him near the cooking station at the bottom of the camp. He's an older Na'vi, and he'll mention knowing your parents, which is a nice touch.

Find Superior or Exquisite Crimson Mushrooms: Sa'nop needs you to find some specific mushrooms. You're looking for either Superior (purple icon) or Exquisite (yellow icon) Crimson Mushrooms. These are found in the Kinglor Forest, but you'll have the best luck in the Swamp Lowlands biomes. You can find these biomes northwest and northeast of High Loom Camp. Check your map and toggle the biome view to spot them. A good tip is to look on tree trunks and roots that are in or near rivers within these swamp areas. Use your Na'vi sense to highlight them, and inspect them to check their rarity. When you harvest, just push forward on your controller or mouse. Don't worry too much about the weather for these; rarity is locked in.

Find Superior or Exquisite Shell Fruit: Next up is the Shell Fruit, and you need the Superior or Exquisite variants of this too. For these, you'll need to head to a Thorny Wilds biome. These can be a bit more dangerous, so keep your wits about you. You can find Thorny Wilds biomes to the northeast, northwest, and directly west of Hometree. The western one is usually the closest. Once you're in the biome, look for the tallest trees. Shell Fruit grows on these. It can be tricky to spot from the ground, so if you have your Ikran, flying around the trees is a great way to find them. If not, you can try climbing the trees, being careful of the thorny plants, and use your Na'vi sense to spot the fruit (it'll be yellow if you've pinned it). Before you can harvest, you need to smash the Shell Fruit open, then pull backward on your controller or mouse to gather it. Again, weather doesn't affect the rarity here.

Cook Sa’nop’s Special Dish: With both your Superior or Exquisite Crimson Mushroom and Shell Fruit in hand, head back to Sa'nop at High Loom Camp. Use the cooking station there to craft the dish. It'll turn into a Superior or Exquisite Mushroom & Fruit Salad. After you consume it, you'll see a cutscene where your character remembers something about their mother.

Complete the Quest: Finally, just speak with Sa'nop again to turn in the quest and wrap things up.
