Hacking Security Systems in Avatar

Alright, so you wanna get into those fancy Field Labs and snag some sweet loot in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora? You'll need to get your hands on the SID, which is the Systems Interrogation Device. Don't worry, it's not too far into the game – just push through the main mission called Welcome to the Resistance. Once you've got it, make sure to equip it! Hold down LB + Y on Xbox or L1 + Triangle on PlayStation. This little gadget is your key to hacking security systems connected to Field Labs, unlocking containers filled with Armor, Weapons, Crafting Materials, and more.

How to Equip and Use the SID

After you've got the SID, you'll start noticing wires running underground. Keep an eye out for these – green means they've got power, and orange means they're dead. Your goal is to follow the wiring until you find a faulty node, which is usually where the green and orange wires split. Once you spot it, aim your reticle at the spanner icon that pops up. You'll see two circles appear on your screen. Your mission is to get these two circles to overlap. To do this, you'll need to gently press RT on Xbox or R2 on PlayStation. Be careful though, pressing the trigger too hard will make you overshoot the mark!

Sometimes, you might need to fix a few of these faulty nodes to get the power back up and running. Eventually, you'll run into a circuit board that kicks off a short, timed puzzle. You'll use the left analog stick to move a square around the board and guide it into a randomly placed circle. As you get further into the game and the security levels get higher, these puzzles will get a bit more challenging. You'll have to find keys within the circuit board first to unlock the paths needed to complete the puzzle.
