All Windswept Kites Locations: Zeswa

Locate all 9 Windswept Kites in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora's Zeswa region. This guide details their exact positions in Shattered Bridge and Mother of Rivers.

Before hunting for these kites, complete The Wandering Clan main story quest. This unlocks side quests in The Circle, Zeswa’s home, including The Wind Will Carry Us. Fa’zak lost her mate and threw away kites, but now wants them back. There are 9 Windswept Kites in the Shattered Bridge and Mother of Rivers areas.

These kites are not marked on the map. Having The Wind Will Carry Us as your active quest will provide proximity updates. Approach and grab each kite; some require your Ikran for higher elevations.

1. Transforming Kite: Located in the northern Mother of Rivers area, specifically at the First Zakru rock formation. Fly your Ikran to the top, towards the middle western half. Head east from your landing spot; the kite is on stacked rocks before the ground dips.

2. Storm Kite: Also at the First Zakru, on the eastern tip. Use your Ikran to reach the top of the rock formation where the kite sits on the very eastern rocks.

3. Spite Kite: West of the previous kite, near tall rocky pillars by the Hydro Injector Echo RDA Mining Installation. The kite is on a pillar east of the installation. Use your Ikran to reach it; you may need to land on a lower section and jump up. Beware of nearby RDA helicopters.

4. Spirit of the Clan Kite: East of the First Zakru in the Weeping Gorge. The kite is on a tall spire. You must approach on foot as your Ikran will be frightened by a noise. Come from the northern side to jump a gap. Look for a ledge to jump the gap, using a slightly extended second jump. Do not miss the jump as you cannot call your Ikran here.

5. Flower Kite: East of the Weeping Gorge, southwest of Drill Outpost Charlie RDA Outpost. Find the Aeolian Wind Flute marked on your map. Next to it is a Windbent Tree. Run up the tree and find the kite at the end of one of its branches.

6. Warning Kite: South of the Flower Kite, on the western side of the Heart Pierce River. The kite is on a broken arch. Land your Ikran on the northernmost arch and go to its eastern tip to find the kite.

7. Fog Guiding Kite: North of the Kitemaker’s Canyon Na’vi Camp. The kite is on a cliff overlooking where the Heart Pierce River flows. It is on a leaning rock pillar. Jump onto the leaning pillar and continue jumping up it.
