Creeping Moss Locations

Find Creeping Moss in avatar frontiers of pandora's Upper Plains. Learn how to get Exquisite Creeping Moss from Petrified Trees near Wing Mountain.

Creeping Moss can only be found in the second region, known as the Upper Plains. You’ll need to progress through the story until you have completed the 11th main mission, The Wandering Clan. After completing this mission, make your way over to the Shattered Forest biome, which is in The Stone Hold sub-region. You’ll need to be on the lookout for Petrified Trees, which are commonly found within the Upper Plains. Once you’ve started finding Petrified Trees, look inside and activate your Na’vi Sense to highlight any Creeping Moss attached to the log.

Creeping Moss is required to craft a variety of better Torsos. As you progress into the second half of the game, enemies will start dealing a lot more damage, so keeping your equipment upgraded will allow you to put up more of a fight. There are Fine, Superior, and Exquisite versions of Creeping Moss, but the better qualities aren’t easy to come by as certain requirements need to be met before they can show up.

How to Get Exquisite Creeping Moss:

If you use better qualities of certain resources when crafting new equipment, you’ll have a much higher chance of getting the best stats possible. To get Exquisite Creeping Moss, climb on top of the standing Petrified Trees near Wing Mountain in The Stone Hold. You can reach the top of the trees via your Ikran or by using the Lift Vines. When you go to harvest the Creeping Moss, push the analog stick up to keep it in pristine condition.
