Prepare for Whispering Caverns: upgrade gear, acquire new Ball abilities, and stock up on potions from Pit Hub vendors.

Before heading to the Whispering Caverns, ensure your gear is up to par. Visit the Blacksmith in the Pit Hub to upgrade your primary weapon and armor using 'Scrap Metal' and 'Glimmering Dust'. Consider purchasing a new 'Ball' ability from the Skill Trainer if you have enough 'Essence Points' and feel your current loadout is lacking. The 'Shielding Orb' or 'Explosive Ball' can be particularly useful in the upcoming areas. Stock up on 'Greater Healing Potions' and 'Stamina Flasks' from the Alchemist. The Whispering Caverns are a significant step up in difficulty from the Upper Reaches, so preparation is key to survival. Check your 'Ball' ability cooldowns and ensure you understand their effects.
