Step 2: Navigate the Whispering Caverns

Guide yourself through Ball x Pit's Whispering Caverns. Stun Echo Wraiths and exploit Stone Golem weak points to solve Resonance Puzzles.

The entrance to the Whispering Caverns is located deeper within the Upper Reaches, past the Sunken Grotto. The caverns are characterized by shimmering crystals and faint, echoing sounds. You'll encounter 'Echo Wraiths', ethereal enemies that are immune to physical damage unless stunned. Use a 'Ball' ability with a stun effect (like 'Impact Ball') or a charged heavy attack to briefly make them vulnerable. 'Stone Golems' are slow but hit hard; target their glowing weak points (usually on their back or chest) after they perform an attack. The caverns also feature 'Resonance Puzzles' where you need to activate glowing crystals in a specific sequence to open blocked paths. Look for environmental clues or listen to the echo patterns to solve these.
