Step 2: Traverse the Upper Reaches

Head through the main gate into Ball x Pit's Upper Reaches. Fight Pit Grunts and Skittering Crawlers, gathering Glimmering Dust as you follow the objective mark.

Exit the Pit Hub through the main gate, which leads directly into the 'Upper Reaches'. This area is relatively linear but features several branching paths that often lead to small caches of loot or minor enemy encounters. Your goal is to follow the main path indicated by the objective marker on your mini-map. Along the way, you'll encounter your first 'Pit Grunts'. These enemies attack with simple melee swings; dodge backward or to the side to avoid their attacks, then counter with 2-3 primary attacks. 'Skittering Crawlers' are smaller, faster enemies that often attack in groups; use area-of-effect 'Ball' abilities if you have them, or focus them down one by one. Remember to pick up any 'Glimmering Dust' dropped by defeated enemies, as it's the primary currency.
