Step 1: Enter the Deepstone Mines

Enter Ball x Pit's Deepstone Mines via Whispering Caverns. Equip a Mining Lantern and face Mine Crawlers and Explosive Grubs.

The entrance to the Deepstone Mines is located in a newly accessible section of the Whispering Caverns, revealed after interacting with the Resonance Crystal. Before entering, ensure you have a 'Mining Lantern' equipped or purchased from the General Goods vendor in the Pit Hub; some areas are pitch black without it. The mines are characterized by narrow tunnels and large open caverns. You'll immediately encounter 'Mine Crawlers', which are faster and more armored than their surface counterparts. They often burrow and ambush, so keep an eye on the ground for disturbed earth. 'Explosive Grubs' are small, slow-moving enemies that detonate upon death or when approached too closely; keep your distance and use ranged attacks or 'Ball' abilities to dispatch them safely.
