Learn about the Prefects and the various student cliques in Bully: Scholarship Edition. Understand how respect works and how to interact with different groups to gain allies.

Alright, let's talk about the Prefects and the different groups you'll run into at Bullworth Academy. Think of the Prefects as the school's own little police force. They're older guys, usually taller and bigger than Jimmy, rocking dark blue jackets with elbow patches. They're all about maintaining order, so if you start causing trouble, they'll definitely try to bust you. They're not exactly the friendly type, no matter how nice you try to be.

There are a few specific Prefects you might encounter:

• Edward Seymour II: This dude wears glasses and seems to think that breaking rules stunts your growth. Weird, right?
• Karl Branting: He's the only Black Prefect and is all about more discipline in the school.
• Max MacTavish: With brown hair, Max wants to join either the Police or the Army.
• Seth Kolbe: This guy has a blond crew cut and serious anger management issues. He's also the Punishment Prefect, so you'll see him if you end up in detention.

When Jimmy first gets to Bullworth, he's nobody. People will pick on him, but as you play through the game, you can definitely earn some respect. This section breaks down all the different student cliques and the students within them.

There are six main cliques: Nerds, Greasers, Preps, Jocks, Bullies, and Townies. Most of these groups have a leader, a male 'kissable' character, and a girl (except for the Bullies). You'll mostly interact with these leaders during main story missions, though the Bullies leader is an exception. You can start dealing with the Townies after Chapter V unlocks.

Doing missions for these groups is how you'll gain respect with one, and sometimes lose it with others. Once you get full respect from a clique, all their members will be friendly towards you. If you get into a fight, members of a friendly clique might even show up to help you out!

On the flip side, if you really mess up and lose respect with a clique, they'll insult you and might even attack you on sight. Remember, you only gain or lose respect by doing missions. Beating up someone from a clique that already likes you won't hurt your standing with them.

You can check your respect status by pressing the Back Button, going to Status, and then scrolling down to Respect. It's shown as a percentage and a color:

• Red: This clique hates you and will attack you immediately.
• Blue: They're neutral and won't bother you either way.
• Green: This clique likes you and will be friendly.

Here's a cool trick: you can actually pay members of a friendly clique to help you out in a fight or cause some trouble. Just press the Right Trigger, talk to them nicely, and when the '$' symbol pops up, pay them. Just a heads-up, you can't pay the male 'kissables' because you'll see a flower symbol instead of a dollar sign when you talk to them, and girls can't be paid allies either.

The Regulars and Little Kids groups don't have leaders, kissables, or paid allies.

When looking at student info, it's broken down like this:

• Student Name: The name of the student.
• Description: Details like gender, body type, skin color, hair color, complexion, whether they wear glasses, watches, gloves, or anything else unusual.
• Clothing: A breakdown of what the student is wearing, from top to bottom.
• Notes: Any interesting or useful tidbits about the student.
