Geography 5 - Middle East

This part of the lesson involves identifying countries on the map. The following countries and their descriptions are provided:

• Chad (Brown): Medium sized country next to and east of Niger.
• Sudan (Green): Large country next to and east of Chad.
• Ethiopia (Brown): Medium sized country next to and southeast of Sudan.
• Somalia (Green): Medium sized country next to and east of Ethiopia.
• Jordan (Green): Small country northeast of Egypt.
• Syria (Tan): Small country north of Jordan.
• Iraq (L. Green): Medium sized country next to and east of Syria.
• Iran (Brown): Large country next and east of Iraq.
• Saudi Arabia (Brown): Large country next to and south of Iraq.
• Qatar: Very small country on the east side of Saudi Arabia.

• Panama (Tan): Very thin country next to and west of Columbia.
