Alright, so we've got a new objective: get to the nearest town. The game calls it Burnville, and it's not too far, but there are definitely some Germans between you and safety. Stick close, and we'll get through this.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
You'll start off near some stairs. Look up to the top where the smoke is and take out that guard. Once he's down, head out the door and immediately duck into cover.
  2. 2
This courtyard is crawling with Germans. Pop out and take them down. Keep an eye on the window above the courtyard – a German will open it. Make sure you get him before he can react.
  3. 3
Now, enter the next building. Inside, you'll see a dining table. As you move towards it, a truck will pull up outside the window. Don't worry about the truck just yet. Instead, head to the stairs in this room. Lean out and take out the enemies there. If you've got any grenades, now's a good time to toss a couple around to clear them out.
  4. 4
Time to move out of this building. You'll want to go through the doorway that *doesn't* lead out to where that truck is. As soon as you step outside, quickly look behind the door you just came through. There's a German hiding there, so take him out.
  5. 5
Captain Foley will lead you through a trench next. Just follow him.

Context:

This section takes place during the D-Day landings, around 00:20 Hours. You're not exactly where you were supposed to be, but you've linked up with some other companies. The immediate goal is to capture the village of Ste. Mere Eglise, which is about 5 miles from Utah Beach. You're approaching it through a narrow field, with minefields on either side. Captain Foley mentioned there are two platoons of German paratroopers waiting in the village, so expect a tough fight. The roads in Ste. Mere Eglise are key because they connect Utah Beach to the main peninsula highway, making it a strategic point for the Germans.

Tips
  • When clearing the courtyard, prioritize the enemies who can shoot back at you.
  • Don't forget to check behind you after exiting the building – that hidden German can catch you off guard.
  • Using grenades before pushing up the stairs can save you some ammo and make the push safer.
