History: The faction dates back to the 13th century, originating from nomadic tribes. They settled near Harran, adopting local language but maintaining traditions around the Mother. Fifty years before the events of 'The Following', they were banned as an illegal religious sect. The Harran Virus outbreak led to their resurgence, with devout members, 'The Faceless', spreading their beliefs and offering guidance. Their use of a military chemical, 'Blue Mist', provided limited immunity to the virus, prompting Kyle Crane's investigation. The Baron later developed this into EF gas.

Beliefs: They worship the Cult of the Sun, Sky, and Wind. The Mother, a matriarchal spiritual leader, guides them through trance-like states and visions. They view nature's forces as divine and pray to the sun, sky, and wind. Their funerary tradition involves dressing the dead in ceremonial robes and masks and leaving them to be consumed by scavenging birds, seen as symbols of heaven's mercy. They have a prophecy about a God of the Sun who will cleanse the earth during a great plague.
