Side Missions in Control Ultimate Edition are typically quick objectives obtained during main missions. They are presented inline within the main walkthroughs. A Merry Chase — Unlocked during Directorial Override.

What a Mess: Burn the Trash — Unlocked by reading the noticeboard in the Janitor's Office. Can be completed when you reach the Furnace Room during Directorial Override.

A Good Defense — Unlocked by finding the Home Safe Tests research during Directorial Override. Complete it by going to the Field Training area in Central Maintenance.

A Captive Audience — Unlocked by finding the Astralnauts Information research during Old Boys Club. Head down to the Hypnosis Lab to complete it.

What a Mess: Clear the Clog — Unlocked by checking the noticeboard in the Janitor's Office at the start of the Threshold main mission. Can be completed as soon as you unlock it.

Old Growth — Unlocked as soon as you complete Threshold. Consider waiting to complete it due to a tough boss. Gain Mold immunity with the Levitate ability before investigating The Pit.

A Matter of Time — Initiated by talking to Horowitz, the injured ranger in Logistics. .

The Enemy Within — Unlocked upon completing the previous side mission. Requires the Levitation ability. May be best to wait until you are more capable before completing it.

Fridge Duty — Unlocked when you reach the fourth floor in the Panopticon. Can only be completed after finishing My Brother's Keeper. Return to the 4th floor of the Panopticon to investigate a malevolent fridge.

Put a Record On — Unlocked by picking up a Jukebox Token from a flight case near the Central Executive Control Point after completing My Brother's Keeper. Completing this unlocks Expeditions mode.

Old Friends — Initiated by talking to Arish in Central Executive after completing My Brother's Keeper. .

What a Mess: Clear the Mold — Unlocked by checking the noticeboard in the Janitor's office at the start of the Face of the Enemy main mission. Complete this next time you go to the Medical Wing in the Containment Sector.

What a Mess: Talk to the Plants — Unlocked by checking the noticeboard in the Janitor's office at the start of the Face of the Enemy main mission. Complete when you next go to Central Research.

Langston's Runaways — Unlocked by completing Fridge Duty. Most can be done right away, but advancing The Face of the Enemy is required for completion.

Mold Removal — Initiated after completing Old Growth and can be completed right away.

Self-Reflection — Initiated by reading the Mirror Supplement case file in the security office past the level 6 door to the Prime Candidate Program. Can be completed at your convenience.

Mr. Tommasi — Initiated by talking to Emily Pope after completing The Face of the Enemy. Can be completed at your convenience.

What a Mess: Even More Mold — Unlocked by checking the noticeboard in the Janitor's Office during the Finnish Tango main mission. Complete when you follow the secret path to the NSC Coolant Pumps.

What a Mess: Take a Break — Unlocked by returning to the Janitor's Office after completing the previous side mission.

Found Footage — Unlocked by entering an area in the foundation called The Chasm after unlocking both the Shape and Fracture abilities. Can be completed right away.

Pope's Collection — Unlocked by finding a Bureau ID in one of the buildings in the Warehouse. Can be completed right away.

Jesse Faden Starring in "Swift Platform" — After opening both blast doors in Transit Access, find the Altered Item in Transit Control. This leads to a theatrical chase sequence.

Another Fine Mess: Nourish the Plants — Unlocked by checking the notice board in the Operations Center during A Dark Place. Nourish plants in the Abandoned Offices and Operations Corridor before reaching the Operations Center. Complete when you reach the Fra Mauro AWE Loading Bay.

Another Fine Mess: Eradicate the Mold — Unlocked by checking the notice board in the Operations Center. Eradicate Mold in the Abandoned Offices before reaching the Operations Center. Find the next outbreak on your way to the Fra Mauro AWE control point. The last infestation is in the A/C Systems.

Another Fine Mess: Burn the Dark — Unlocked by checking the notice board in the Operations Center. Progress after clearing the Fra Mauro AWE. The second area is in the Turntable control room and Utility Corridor. The final area is the Eagle Limited AWE.

SHÜM — Unlocked after your first encounter with Hartman. Enter the canteen area in Active Investigations. Win a round on the arcade mission to complete it.

Return to Sender — Unlocked by picking up the chain letter near the AWE Loading Bay control point. Start after unlocking and send the final letter when exploring the Utility Corridor. Return to the Shifted Offices to complete it.
