Inferno

Learn Inferno map strategy in Counter-Strike: Source. Understand Terrorist map control and Counter-Terrorist chokepoint defense.

Counter-Terrorist (CT) Strategy:

• You need to delay the Terrorists (Ts) push for as long as possible.
• Use smokes and fire at the chokes (tight passages) to effectively force the Terrorists to attack at a time they might not be comfortable.
• CTs have an inherent advantage defending the tight chokepoints onto the sites.

Terrorist (T) Strategy:

• You start with a ton of map control.
• You can easily switch from an attack on one site to another.
• Most, if not all, entrances onto the sites are tight chokepoints.

General Map Tips:

• You need to be patient if you want to play Inferno frequently.
• Coordinate your team's plays well.
• Know exactly how and when to push for information.
• Fight well into and out of chokepoints.
• Inferno is a deviously complex but insidiously fun map to learn.
