This guide outlines the roadmap to achieving the Platinum trophy in Dead Space (Remake). It is divided into three main steps, focusing on completing the game, collecting items, and mastering different difficulties and challenges.

Step 1 - Normal Playthrough + Weapon Trophies: Begin your first playthrough on Normal Difficulty. Focus on completing the Main Story, all 3 Side Quests (You Are Not Authorized, Premeditated Malpractice, and Scientific Methods), and collecting 150 Logs for the Story Teller and Legend Teller trophies. There are 188 Logs in total, so some can be missed. While progressing, work towards the 6 Weapon Trophies by getting 30 kills with the Line Gun, Force Gun, Contact Beam, Ripper, Flamethrower, and Pulse Rifle. It's recommended to upgrade damage for each weapon and swap them frequently to progress evenly.

Step 2 - New Game Plus, Markers/Secret Ending and Plasma Cutter Only: Start a New Game Plus playthrough on Story Only Difficulty to make the 'One Gun' trophy easier. This playthrough requires you to use only the Plasma Cutter for all combat. Additionally, find all 12 Marker Fragments scattered throughout the Ishimura. Once collected, place them in Captain Mathius’ Room in the Executive Quarters to activate the secret ending and earn the Reunion Trophy.

Step 3 - Complete The Game on Impossible Mode: After completing the requirements for Side Quests, Logs, Schematics, the Secret Ending, and Weapons, undertake one final playthrough on Impossible Mode.
