How to Calibrate the ADS Cannons in Dead Space Remake

Alright, so you've powered up those big ADS Cannons, but they're not quite ready to blast asteroids yet. Isaac's got a plan, and it involves you heading back outside the ship. Don't worry, it's not as scary as it sounds – mostly. We'll need to use the Exterior Access door to get out there.

Once you're outside, you'll be in zero gravity. Use your thrusters to float over to the calibration panels for each cannon. Keep an eye out for incoming asteroids; you'll probably get clipped by a few, so don't sweat the small stuff. Just make sure you've got enough health to tank a couple of hits.

When you get to a calibration panel, you'll aim just like you would with your regular weapons. Instead of firing, though, you'll hit the interact button. On PC, that's usually the 'E' key, on PS5 it's 'Square', and on Xbox it's 'X'. This fires the cannon at whatever you're aiming at.

You'll need to hit about five asteroids with each cannon to fill up the calibration progress bar. Each asteroid you blast fills it up by 20%, so just keep at it until each cannon is calibrated. After you've done that for all three, you're almost done.

Before you head back inside, there's a little something extra. Just past the third cannon, you'll find White's Rig. Make sure you grab it before returning to the ship through the Exterior Access door. It's easy to miss if you're in a hurry!
