Alright, so you're in Chapter 1 of Dead Space (Remake) and need to grab that Data Board. It's tucked away in the Maintenance Bay Office, which is in the southeastern part of the Hangar-Cargo-Tram Control map. The catch? The door's locked at first. We'll need to power it up.

First things first, let's head to the Maintenance Bay itself. It's in the northeastern section of the Hangar-Cargo-Tram Control area. Just a heads-up, you're going to run into a bunch of Necromorphs as you explore. Seriously, be ready to fight them around every corner. The game likes to throw more than one at you, especially when there are multiple paths ahead. Your best bet is to shoot them in the legs to slow 'em down, then aim for their other limbs to finish them off, and finally, stomp them for some extra loot. It's a solid strategy for most encounters.

Now, to get into that office, we need to find the Circuit Breaker. It's on the second floor, over on the western side of the Maintenance Bay. You'll find a lift nearby to take you up. Once you're on the second floor, follow the platform straight ahead until you reach the Circuit Breaker station.

Here's the tricky part: you'll see three options to power: Maintenance Room, Lights, and Elevators. You can only have two active at a time. Since the Maintenance Bay Office (where the Data Board is) is on the first floor, you absolutely need the elevator to get back down. That means you're forced to turn off the lights. Yeah, it gets pretty spooky on the way back, relying mostly on your weapon's light to see.

So, make sure you power the Maintenance Room and the Elevators. This will automatically shut off the lights. Once you've made those selections, head back to the elevator and take it down to the first floor. Now, make your way across the room to the Maintenance Bay Office door. It should open for you now!

Inside, you'll find the Data Board waiting for you to your left. You'll also spot a workbench in here, which is super handy for upgrading your weapons or suit whenever you need to.
