Story Characters

First off, the characters you get just by playing through the main story are unlocked automatically. Besides our main man Zed, you'll snag six others as you progress. Just keep playing, and they'll join your crew!

Postgame Characters

Once you've wrapped up the main story, you'll have the chance to unlock three more characters. These are fan favorites from previous Disgaea games! When you finish the story, a new bill will pop up in the Dark Assembly called Accept an Overlord’s Challenge!. It's going to cost you 50,000 Mana, so you might need to do a little bit of farming. Definitely use the Cheat Shop to boost your Mana gain! You'll also want to be ready for some tough battles, as the enemies in these stages are no joke, especially the last one with ten Level 9999 enemies, three of whom are bosses. Power through all eight stages, and you'll unlock these three characters.

DLC Characters

For the DLC characters, here's the cool part: in Disgaea 6 Complete, all of them are included right in the game! You don't need to buy anything extra. Beat those stages, and you'll unlock the characters!
