Multi-Player [D3.05.01]

Learn how to join or create a Doom 3 multiplayer game, explore gametypes like Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, and discover available items.

When you select the Multi-Player section, you can choose to join a game or create one. If you join, you can set a filter or connect to an IP address of someone you know. When you select to create a server, you can choose from various gametypes.

Gametypes:

• Deathmatch: Kill (frag) as many other players as you can. The player who has killed the most players wins.
• Team Deathmatch: Similar to Deathmatch, but you work with teams.
• Last Man Standing: Survive as long as possible.
• Tourney: Fight 1 vs. 1, with others spectating, to select a winner.

You can set various options when creating a server, such as a frag limit, time limit, maximum players, number of spectators, warm-up time, and password. Once configured, you can begin the game.

Items: You can find three items in Multi-Player: Berserk, Mega Sphere, and Invisibility. These are described in the "Other items" section. Multi-Player comes with all weapons, excluding the BFG and Soul Cube.
