Walkthrough

Navigate to your Doom 3 \base directory.

Locate the .PK4-files within this directory.

Open each .PK4-file individually using WinRAR.

Extract the contents of each .PK4-file into the \base directory. Be aware this will consume an additional 3 GB of disk space.

Move the original .PK4-files out of the \base directory. It is recommended to move them rather than delete them, as the game will continue to use them if they remain.

Launch Doom 3 to see the results.

Tips

Moving the .PK4-files instead of deleting them prevents the game from automatically using them if they are not extracted.
