All Scroll Locations

Scrolls can be found in chests, sparkly spots on the world map, and on bookshelves.

Some scrolls are rewards for completing side quests, such as gathering Mini Medals or finding all Living Memories.

Once found, access scrolls via the menu under "Items" then "Item Bag".

Select a scroll and choose "Use". A list of characters will appear; those with white names can learn the spell or ability.

It is recommended to wait until after recruiting Matilda to use scrolls to ensure all characters are available as options, or plan ahead to save specific scrolls for her.

Once used, a scroll is gone forever. Misusing a scroll will not make the game unbeatable but may affect party tactics.

The following is a list of all scrolls, their locations, and how to obtain them:

• Crack Scroll: Cannock Castle - 1F: In Matilda’s room (the circular room at the top of the map), inside a wardrobe.

Propeller Blade Scroll: World Map (Moonahan region): Search a sparkly spot along the mountains northeast of Moonahan.

Undead Undoer Scroll: Moonbrooke Castle - 1F: In a chest in the room northeast of the garden.

Frizz Scroll: Swamp Shrine: In a pot along the western edge of the poisonous swamp.

Crackle Scroll: Midenhall Castle - B1: In a barrel along the western edge of the level. Requires the Thief’s Key to get through the red door.

Defizzle Scroll: Moonahan: On the island in the northwestern corner of town. Requires the Thief’s Key to open a door east of this island to reach stairs that’ll take you to the island.

Wind Sickles Scroll: Pillar of the Winds - 5F: In a chest in the northeasternmost chamber, between two large pillars.

Zin Scroll: Pillar of the Winds - 7F: In a chest in the center of the level. Climb the southwestern stairs on 6F to reach this area.

Soothing Strong Scroll: Northern Dragon’s Horn - 5F: In a chest along the southern edge of the level.

Crackle Scroll: Rippleport (Port of Ripplepoint): In the building on the southeastern edge of the map, in a bookshelf in the northeastern corner.

Frizzle Scroll: Manor of the Monarch of Medals: Give the Maharaja of Medals 15 Mini Medals.

Focus Pocus Scroll: Manor of the Monarch of Medals: Give the Maharaja of Medals 40 Mini Medals.

Bang Scroll: Tantegel: In the northeasternmost house, head up to the second floor and search a bookshelf in the northeastern room.

Kaclang Scroll: Erdrick’s Hollow - B2: In a chest in the northernmost chamber.

Buff Scroll: Erdrick’s Hollow - B2: In a chest in the northernmost chamber.

Sap Scroll: Rimuldar: In the northwestern house, in a barrel.

Demon Demeaner Scroll: Damdara: In a barrel near an ultimate chest along the eastern edge of the ruined walls.

Kasap Scroll: Dragonlord’s Castle - B6: In a chest in the northwestern corner of the level.

Assassin’s Stab Scroll: Dragonlord’s Castle - B6: In a chest in the northwestern corner of the level.

Puff-Puff Scroll: Kol: In a pot in the inn.

Kabuff Scroll: Shrine of Rain - 3F: In a chest in the middle of the western tower.

Reheal Scroll: Shrine of Rain - 5F: In a chest northwest of the shrine in the middle of the level.

Multislice Scroll: Lighthouse - 5F: In a chest in a room in the middle of the level, reachable via stairs along the southeastern edge of 4F.

Boom Scroll: Burrowell - B1: On a bookshelf in the northwesternmost house.

Muster Strength Scroll: Dirkandor Castle - Passage: Enter from the eastern edge of the city via the world map or through a gate to the east in Dirkandor Castle (requires the Magic Key). Found in a bookshelf in the northwestern corner.

Service Call Scroll: Dirkandor Castle - Passage: Enter from the eastern edge of the city via the world map or through a gate to the east in Dirkandor Castle (requires the Magic Key). Found in a bookshelf.
