How to Earn Baqua Quickly: Gameplay

As you play through the main story, you'll unlock a bunch of sidequests. Keep an eye on the Bulletin Board in the Plaza to see what's available. You'll need to chat with the NPCs to actually start them, but many of these, especially the Shop Quests, give out a good chunk of Baqua as a reward. Seriously, knock out as many as you can!

Whenever you're exploring dungeons, make sure to smash every pot and crate you come across with your weapon. They're guaranteed to drop Baqua. While most give a small amount, some special ones can drop a surprising amount, like 500 Baqua! The cool thing is, the Baqua from these is fixed, so you can totally farm them if you need cash. Once you recruit Garoo and can break those big rocks, head to the Forest Cave signpost in the Great Forest. Go down right next to the signpost, and you'll find some pots, one of which has 500 Baqua. As you get further into the game and unlock tougher areas, you'll even find breakables with 3000-4000 Baqua. Just remember, you have to leave the area completely for them to respawn.

You'll eventually unlock the Pawnshop on Second Street. This is where you can sell pretty much anything from your inventory, including all those Resources you've been hoarding. It's a great way to make Baqua, especially if you have a ton of one specific Resource. Pro tip: items you get from breaking pots and crates often sell for a good amount of Baqua, and they'll usually show up at the bottom of the Pawnshop's sell list. The items that are safe to sell are: Rare Stone, Monster Fossil, Ancient Scrap, Ancient Currency, Ancient Trinket, and Ancient Sculpture.
