Where to Find the Golem Plate

Alright, so you're looking for the Golem Plate, huh? This is a pretty important resource, and thankfully, there are two main ways to snag it in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. One involves a bit of farming, and the other is a trade. Let's break it down!

Finding the Golem Plate by Farming:

First off, you can only get the Golem Plate from a specific enemy: the four-legged Rune Golem. You won't be able to farm these guys until you're pretty far into the game, specifically when you gain access to the Runebarrows Depths. You might see Rune Golems earlier, but they won't drop this item.

To get to the Runebarrows Depths, you'll want to head to the Lava Reservoir signpost in the Lava Ruins. From there, just go right. You'll find an exit that leads you deeper into the area. Follow that path, and you'll arrive at a Menhir that teleports you straight to the Runebarrows - Depths. Once you're there, keep pushing right until you reach the very last room. That's your spot! You'll find both the four-legged Rune Golem (the one you want for the plate) and a bipedal Rune Golem hanging out there.

Trading for the Golem Plate:

If farming isn't your jam, or you just want another option, you can trade for the Golem Plate at Hogan's Trading Post on Second Street. You'll need two things for this trade: 3 Golem Rubbles and 3 Gold Ores.

The Golem Rubbles come from defeating the bipedal Rune Golems – so you'll get those while you're farming for the plate anyway! As for the Gold Ore, you can find that from mining nodes in the later areas of the game. Good spots to stock up include the Runebarrows and the Lava Ruins. Specifically, check out the area near the Fallen Chamber signpost, and also the cave just to its right (if you're heading into the screen).
