Walkthrough

    From the B17F entrance to B18F, head North to meet Ren and Tlachtga.

    Head East 1 square to meet Ren and Tlachtga again.

    Explore the floor freely. The secret exit is in the SW.

    Note a special tree 9 squares North and 2 squares East of the entrance. Facing it from the South may trigger a warning about a strong monster and open a path in B16F SE.

    Locate the healing fountain in the Southern area.

    Gather items from the Item Points:
    • Take A4: Sand Cloth, Cross Seed, Cordyceps

    In the small clearing, the center nook to the North is blocked by a Diabolix FOE. Defeat it.

    Take the one-way Warp North. Head North, then West, then South to find a chest with an Axcela II.

    Return North, then East to the wall. Encounter a Cruella FOE.

    Continue North (South leads to a dead end).

    4 squares before the North wall, face East to find a Warp Point/shortcut.

    Continue North, then West.

    Going North here leads to a dead end with a one-way Warp back to the NW tip of the area.

    Go South, then West, then North to find the stairs to B19F.
Tips
  • Elves (Mystic, Warrior, Soldier, Druid) are strong against Bow attacks. Some have Blazer attacks that deal around 100 damage to the whole party. Use TP to defeat them quickly if not overleveled.
  • Nighttoad and Hextoad FOEs are part of the "Versus the unknown" quest.
  • The Bud FOE teleports randomly. To encounter it for the M Leaf drop: Go North 1 step from B18F entrance, then 2 steps East, 12 steps South, and East until encountered (approx. 6-7 steps).
  • Diabolix FOEs can curse your party, and Cruella FOEs can confuse them. Be wary of their speed, especially Diabolix's potential to curse the entire party before they act.
  • Pixies, found in the later area, can petrify party members, useful for the "Apothecary's request I" quest.
  • B18F is a large clearing, not standard labyrinth passages.
  • Ren and Tlachtga appear near the entrance, offering hints about Etria's future.
  • A healing fountain is located in the Southern area.
