Complete Part 11 of the Half-Life: Alyx walkthrough. Learn how to defeat enemies, evade choppers, and find supplies from the transmitter station to the rebel encampment.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
From the transmitter station, head to the white house. Enter the radio room, wait for Alyx, then proceed to the car and leave the area.
  2. 2
Follow the dirt road to the next group of buildings. Enter the barn via EP/XP#1. Turn left at EP/XP#2 and proceed to the gate. Use GGP+ on the gate lock, drop into the hole, and enter the main room. Disrupt the plasma stream to defeat the advisor in its cocoon.
  3. 3
Deal with the 3 OBGs in the barn. Head left to the steps with the crawl space XP. Use FP#1 on the steps for cover and line of fire (LOF) to the anteroom EP/XP for chest and headshots.
  4. 4
When dealing with the OBGs, be aware that they may arrive staggered. Use the revolver for headshots or switch to the PR and move left onto the platform and left of the column to take FP#2. Aim waist high and adjust.
  5. 5
After clearing the enemies, enter the anteroom and collect supplies. Shoulder the SMG, run through the anteroom, right at the busted gate lock, and right at barn EP/XP#2. Run to EP/XP#1, then left toward the car.
  6. 6
As you run toward the car, look to your 10:00 and throw a HEG to the ground between the 2 advancing OBGs. Leave the town ahead of the chopper if possible.
  7. 7
Do not sprint through the barn or to the car, as this can delay Alyx and result in more enemies and damage.
  8. 8
The car may end up against the APC. Try to deal with the H as you exit.
  9. 9
When breaking through the RR perimeter fence, be aware that you may take more damage and find freight containers blocking paths.
  10. 10
Open NOS after passing the property gate, slam the RR tracks perimeter fence, and turn left after the first train segment for the middle of the track area.
  11. 11
Weave the car left and right through train segments to avoid mines. Steer towards crates for supplies (SCs with MKs or SBs). Use NOS on long straightaways.
  12. 12
Look for a loaded logger car, use NOS and turn right to pass before the logs roll off.
  13. 13
Reach a dead end, hook right around the train cars, and dogleg back. Follow road barriers to the rebel camp. Sprint along the freight container and drop before the chopper fires. Use GGP-/+ on mines for meds and SB from SCs.
  14. 14
To deal with the chopper: Run into the open then right, continue to the lone train with the SC. Creep under the train and face the direction you came from. Wait for the chopper to be above and to your left, exit, and use GGP- on the dropped mine, sending it back. Retreat under the train and repeat. If quick, pick up and hit dropped mines twice.
  15. 15
After the chopper battle, follow Alyx and the rebel into a building for new orders to silence the combine gun. As you move to the far side of the first room, chapter 4 Riding Shotgun ends and Under the Radar begins.
Tips

  • When dealing with enemies in the barn, use cover effectively and aim for headshots.
  • Be prepared for staggered enemy arrivals.
  • Using the environment for cover and line of fire is crucial.
  • Don't rush through certain sections to ensure Alyx keeps up and can assist effectively.
  • Utilize grenades strategically to control enemy advances.
  • When evading the chopper, use the train segments for cover and return its mines for a higher success rate.
  • Look for health and ammo in crates and around the tracks.
  • There may be a WD (Weapon Crate) on an upper walkway in one of the buildings.
