Alright, let's talk about the UNSC's finest rides in Halo: Combat Evolved! These are your main ways of getting around and causing some serious trouble for the Covenant. We've got the iconic Warthog, the heavy-hitting Scorpion tank, and a special treat for PC players, the Rocket Warthog.

The Warthog

Think of the Warthog as your trusty jeep. It's got three seats: driver, passenger, and gunner. If you're driving, you control its movement just like you would on foot. Keep an eye on that blue arrow – it shows you where you'll go if you drive straight.

The passenger seat is okay for taking potshots at enemies, but your turning is pretty limited, so it's not ideal. The real star is the gunner seat in the back. This turret has unlimited ammo and can shred pretty much anything, including those tough Elites. If you've got a spare Marine, definitely put them in the gunner seat – they're surprisingly good at clearing out enemies. It's also a blast online in multiplayer. Just a heads-up, the gunner's range is a bit limited, so you'll need to get closer to your targets than you might think.

The Scorpion Tank

Next up is the Scorpion, a seriously heavy tank. It's not the fastest vehicle around, but what it lacks in speed, it makes up for in sheer power. When you're in the driver's seat (right in the middle), you get access to two awesome weapons.

Clicking the left mouse button fires a missile that can take out almost anything, but remember it needs to recharge after each shot. The right mouse button controls a machine gun, which is decent but not quite as effective as the Warthog's turret. The Scorpion can carry up to four passengers, and since someone needs to be driving for anyone to get in, it can be a great setup for multiplayer ambushes. Just be aware that each seat has its own turning limitations, so try to pick the one that best suits your role.

The Rocket Warthog

This one's a new addition specifically for the PC version, and it's a multiplayer-only vehicle. It handles just like a regular Warthog, but instead of a machine gun turret in the back, it's got a rocket launcher. Unlike the Warthog's unlimited ammo turret, you'll need to reload the rocket launcher every few shots. It's got its own advantages, like being able to take down enemy vehicles more easily, but it can be pretty inaccurate sometimes. The passenger seat is still there, of course. If you're having trouble telling it apart from a regular Warthog, just remember the Rocket Warthog is black.
