Where to find and kill Sand Carvers: Enemies 2

Alright, so you've stumbled upon the Blasted Sands and these annoying little sand worm things, the Sand Carvers, are giving you trouble. Don't worry, they're pretty straightforward once you know what you're doing. You'll find them popping out of sand pits in that area.

The trick to beating them is to use a tool that can either explode on contact or detonate after a short delay. The guide mentions the Pompillo, which is like a bouncing grenade. It's crafted using one Craftmetal, which you can find in a secret room in the top-left of Greymoor. To get there, head up from the Flea Caravan bench or the Moorwing fight arena, then smack the top-left wall to break the roof and enter the hidden room. Once you've got the Pompillo, make sure to resupply at a bench and grab some shards.

Another option is the Cogfly, which summons a little buzzing fly. This one also requires one Craftmetal and is crafted in High Halls. Both tools have map markers, so keep an eye out for those.

Once you're geared up, just head back to a sand pit in the Blasted Sands and toss your tool in. You'll know you've got a kill when the sand erupts and you see bits of the sand worm flying out.
